Eva Bowan a Polish-born, UK based, experimental audio-visual artist.
With background in Psychology, she strives to represent the complexities of her inner world and her struggles with mental health in whatever medium she works in. Often combining analogue and digital techniques she creates dream-like impressions reflecting various emotional states. These surreal and abstract imageries offer release and relief in their often meditative environments.
Her sound can be described as a unique combination of ambient, electronica and industrial. She released her debut EP 'Hyperspectacle' on KLDSCP Records in 2014, followed by her second EP 'Ringwoodite' released via Objects Ltd in May 2016. Her newest EP 'Songs for the Apocalypse' is available now on all streaming platforms (Oct 2020). In the past she supported: James Holden, Swans, Tim Hecker, Gazelle Twin, Rosie Lowe, Silver Apples, Rival Consoles and more.
